William L. Allen, MBA

Mr. William L. Allen, Jr. is the Chief Executive Officer and majority owner of ALW Sourcing, LLC. Mr. Allen brings a wealth of knowledge, entrepreneurship, and industry experience to ALW Sourcing.

Prior to launching ALW Sourcing, Mr. Allen served at the highest levels of the largest business process outsourcing vendor in the world. Bill’s accomplishments – as the most senior African-American in a worldwide, publicly traded corporation – set the stage for success with ALW Sourcing.

Mr. Allen continues to serve as a senior consultant with NCO Financial Systems, Inc., the largest provider of accounts receivable management services to creditors throughout the world’s economy.

As a true entrepreneur, Mr. Allen believes in the power of sales and having a solid support organization in place to service those clients. His sales and operations acumen extends to other business sectors. Early in his career, he learned the power of service after the sale by leading sales, marketing, and operations groups with Mobil Oil.

Community involvement is a recurring theme in Mr. Allen’s successful career. He is CEO of A Friend of the Family, Inc., a Delaware-based incubator for alternative learning programs. Through Mr. Allen’s leadership, the venture is growing and proves to be a viable business model – while, giving students with special needs a chance to succeed in the face of the challenges they encounter.

Mr. Allen contributes to his community as a teacher in his own right. Mr. Allen instructs seminars on topics including salesmanship, consumer finance, business development, diversity in the corporate environment, and in marketing. Recently, he was featured in Business Week for his philanthropic activities associated with the diverse communities of special needs and African-Americans. Other feature articles include the Baltimore Business Journal and JET.

Mr. Allen’s business and social networks are extensive, as is his contribution to the organizations with which he is affiliated – among them are: Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Social Venture Partners, the National Urban League, Guardsman International, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, St. Mary’s Villa for Children, the International Credit Association, Boys and Girls Clubs of Delaware, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Delaware, the Delaware State University Board of Visitors, Consumer Credit Counseling of Delaware & of Maryland, and he serves as an Executive Board Director for the Delaware Community Foundation.

Bill holds an MBA from Drexel University / Russell Sage College with a concentration in Finance. He achieved his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Virginia State University.
